Custom pickleball paddle fitting

Stop adapting to
your paddle.

Fit the paddle to you.

PaddleIQ aligns the paddle’s sweet spot center with your natural strike pattern so significantly more of your normal contacts can use the sweet spot.

A better definition of “fit”

Your paddle has a sweet spot.
Your swing has one, too.

Most paddles are selected by weight, shape, or feel alone. PaddleIQ adds the missing piece: objective evidence of where you repeatedly strike the ball. We call the center of the paddle’s best-performing area its sweet spot center. When that point and the center of your natural strike pattern do not agree, many of your normal contacts can miss the paddle’s best-performing area.

Why alignment matters

Move the sweet spot
into your pattern.

Your swing does not need to be rebuilt around a factory-default location. PaddleIQ looks for a practical way to bring the paddle’s sweet spot center toward the place you already contact the ball most often.

01

More of your normal hits can use the sweet spot

When the sweet spot center sits near the middle of your natural strike pattern, a significantly larger share of your existing contacts can fall on or near the paddle’s sweet spot—without asking you to manufacture a different swing.

02

Same paddle. Different player. Different sweet spot location.

PaddleIQ evaluates the player and paddle as a combined system. Because every player interacts with the same paddle differently, Player A and Player B can experience different effective sweet spot locations. That is why PaddleIQ fits the paddle to the individual rather than treating one location as universal.

A performance baseline

See—and track—your strike consistency.

StrikeMap testing measures more than where you hit the ball. The size and shape of the fitted strike ellipse show how tightly your contacts cluster. In general, a smaller ellipse indicates a more repeatable strike pattern under the same test conditions.

Track your progress

Repeat the same test over time to see whether your strike pattern is becoming tighter, wider, or shifting location.

Build meaningful comparisons

Your results can be compared with your own earlier sessions now. Once enough standardized data has been collected, PaddleIQ may also show how your consistency compares with similar players.

Comparisons are most meaningful when testing conditions and strike counts are kept consistent. Peer benchmarks will be introduced only after a sufficient reference dataset exists.

The PaddleIQ fitting

From player profile
to verified alignment.

A disciplined fitting process, built to replace guesswork with measured evidence.

01

Understand your game

A focused play profile captures how you play, what you value, and what you want the paddle to help you do.

02

Measure the paddle

We characterize mass, balance, rotational inertia, dimensions, and the paddle’s sweet spot center.

03

Map your strike pattern

StrikeMap testing reveals where you naturally contact the ball—not where a generic paddle assumes you will.

04

Engineer the alignment

We evaluate practical changes to align the paddle’s sweet spot center with your repeatable strike center.

05

Modify & verify

Selected changes are applied, measured again, and verified with a post-modification bounce test.

The engineering advantage

Not a product quiz.
A measured system.

PaddleIQ treats the player and paddle as an interacting system. Your profile establishes performance priorities. Paddle measurements characterize the equipment. StrikeMap testing quantifies your actual interaction with it.

Together, those measurements support a specific recommendation—and a verification step confirms whether the sweet spot center matches the intended player-specific fit.
